Unemployment is not only an economic challenge, it often affects self-confidence, wellbeing, and mental health. Many long-term unemployed adults in Europe face stress, loneliness, and emotional difficulties that can become barriers to re-entering the labour market. EU Resilient Minds: Building Resilience in Unemployed Adults through Emotional Management (EU-MINDS), an Erasmus+ project, was created to address this gap by promoting resilience and emotional management for unemployed adults and the professionals who support them.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The project will develop three main outcomes: EU-MINDS Research, mapping the emotional and psychological effects of unemployment across Europe; the EU-MINDS Guide, a practical manual with evidence-based tools for employment guidance professionals; and the EU-MINDS Platform, a free digital platform offering resources for both professionals and unemployed adults. EU-MINDS directly supports two key groups: unemployed adults over 30 who face vulnerability and employment guidance professionals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The partnership brings together four organisations from Hungary, Greece, Portugal, and Spain, each contributing expertise in employability, digital innovation, psychosocial wellbeing, and mental health. By combining research, training, and innovative digital tools, EU-MINDS aims to make emotional wellbeing an integral part of employment support systems across Europe, helping individuals not only find work, but also rebuild resilience, confidence, and hope.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the project seeks to leave a lasting legacy, creating more inclusive employment support systems across Europe, where mental health and emotional wellbeing are recognised as essential for professional reintegration. With its research, resources, and digital platform, EU-MINDS is paving the way for a more resilient, confident, and hopeful future for unemployed adults.<\/p>\n
