As part of Activity 3 of the EmpowerSDGs project, our partners joined forces to create a comprehensive knowledge base filled with valuable resources on non-formal education, effective methods for engaging vulnerable youth, and a deep dive into the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda.

In the first phase of this activity, the partnership organized open calls for youth workers in each of our partner countries (Spain, Greece, Turkey and Serbia), bringing together teams of five in each country to collaborate on the design of an impactful Curriculum. This collaborative effort resulted in the development of a dynamic Curriculum that covers key topics such as the 2030 Agenda, its connection to non-formal education, the SDGs, and the crucial role of youth in driving change at local, national, and global levels.

The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with more than 15 interactive activities. A unique highlight is the “Inclusivity and Accessibility Checklist”, designed to help youth workers ensure that the activities are inclusive and accessible to young people from marginalized communities, including those with fewer opportunities. This ensures that all youth can fully participate and benefit from the program.
