It’s important for The Hive Group to help our customers retain their privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the following website, which is owned and/or maintained by The Hive Group: www.thehivegroup.eu. Your privacy is important to you and to us, so we’ll protect the information you share.

To protect your privacy, The Hive Group follows different principles in accordance to the worldwide practices for customer privacy and data protection.

  • We won’t sell or give away your name, mail address, phone number, email address or any other information to anyone.
  • We’ll use state-of-art security measures to protect your information from unauthorized users.

 

NOTICE

We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (Personal Information) or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is requested when you pre-register or register for one of our courses and/or subscribe to our email newsletters, or filling out a ‘contact us’ form. We use your Personal Information for two primary purposes:

  • To make your course registration process easier
  • To alert you to our upcoming and past course and project updates and other services from The Hive Group.

 

COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal information collected by this website can include your name, email address, country or location, but may also include other information. This website also collects certain information about your computer hardware and software. This information may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, domain name, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of this website, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of website. This website also collects information about which pages you visit. This site visitation data is identified only by your IP address, and it is never linked with personal information.

 

CONSENT

If you do not want us to communicate with you about offers regarding The Hive Group services, programmes, events or courses by e-mail, postal mail, or telephone, you may select the option stating that you do not wish to receive marketing messages from The Hive Group.

 

SECURITY

The Hive Group has taken strong measures to protect the security of your personal information and to ensure that your choices for its intended use are honoured. We take strong precautions to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Your personal information is never shared outside the company without permission, except under conditions explained above. Inside the company, data is stored in database with limited access. Your information may be stored and processed in Greece or any other country where The Hive Group operates.

 

CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

Parents or guardians: we want to help you guard your children’s privacy. We encourage you to talk to your children about safe and reasonable use of their Personal Information while using the Internet.

The Hive Group operates the following policy on its website regarding the use of photographs, to ensure the privacy and safety of children:

  1. Where pupils are named, only their first names are given;
  2. Where a pupil is named, no photograph of that pupil is displayed;
  3. Where a photograph is used which shows a pupil, no name is displayed.

By observing these points The Hive Group ensures that visitors to the website cannot link images of pupils to names of pupils. The Hive Group follows a policy of seeking parents’ permission before using the images which show pupils on the website. No other private information about pupils is ever published on website such as surnames or contact details.

 

POLICY AMENDMENTS

We may update this privacy policy from time-to-time by posting a new version on our website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes.

If for some reason you believe The Hive Group has not adhered to these principles, please notify us by e-mail at hello@thehivegroup.eu and we will do our best to determine and correct the problem promptly. By certain the words Privacy Policy are in the Subject line.

— Registration Policy

It’s important for The Hive Group to help our customers register to our courses while being fully aware of the commitment after registration, what are cancellation procedures, rescheduling possibilities and the refund policy. This Registration Policy applies to the following website, which is owned and/or maintained by The Hive Group: www.thehivegroup.eu.

Registration through the The Hive Group website is three-step:

  1. PRE-REGISTRATION FORM (can be found at the bottom of each course page) which serves as a general express of interest form. This is not a final registration, thus enrolment cannot be considered final until the Final ERASMUS+ KA1 (Staff Mobility) ENROLMENT REGISTRATION FORM is filled in and the enrolment confirmation from The Hive Group is received via e-mail.
  2. ERASMUS+ KA1 (Staff Mobility) ENROLMENT REGISTRATION FORM further (ENROLMENT REGISTRATION) is the pre-final registration to one of the course sessions. The link to this form will be received by the participant after completion of the PRE-REGISTRATION FORM or by e-mail directly from The Hive Group.
  3. After the completion of registration, The Hive Group will issue the course package invoice, which is due to be paid on the specified date:
    1. In case the invoice was not received by the participant, the registration of the participant is not considered complete
    2. In case the invoice is not paid until the due date The Hive Group keeps the right to cancel the course enrolment at any given time.

By filling in the final ENROLMENT REGISTRATION FORM participant agrees that he/she is required to use his/her best endeavours to meet the requirements of the course selected and to abide by the rules and regulations as well as policies of The Hive Group. (Information on The Hive Group policies, rules and regulations is located on the website www.thehivegroup.eu).

By registering to the training course participant agrees with the following terms and conditions:

  • Provide The Hive Group with the relevant documents such as Learning/ Mobility Agreements/ Europass Certificates at least 30 calendar days in advance of the scheduled course date. Any delays in receiving the documents from the sending institutions will cause delays in communication from The Hive Group.
  • Provide The Hive Group with the relevant and full information of the flight details at least 30 days in advance of the scheduled course date (only if the airport transfer option is included in the course package selected). Namely:
    – Name of Airlines of Arrival / Departure Flight
    – Flight number of Arrival / Departure Flight
    – Date & Time of Arrival / Departure Flight
    – The terminal of Arrival / Departure Flight
    – Accommodation name & address for the airport transfers of Arrival / Departure Flight.

In case of provision of insufficient information within the specified period (30 days in advance of the scheduled course date), the full cost of an airport transfer will be faced and no refund will be applied.

  • Participant agrees that all the course session and any related material supplied by the The Hive Group are copyright, remain the property of the The Hive Group and might constitute a breach of the Copyright Act in case of unauthorised use.
  • Participant understands that the classroom seating is limited and in order to assure a place in the course, to avoid disappointment it is recommended to complete the final enrolment registration at least 30 days prior to the course date.
  • Participant understands that the particular course packages are limited, thus participant might be suggested to choose the course package which does not include the accommodation ‘Basic Course Package’. To avoid disappointment it is recommended to complete the final enrolment registration at least 30 days prior to the course date.
  • Participant agrees to fill in the online feedback form as late as 7 days after the commencement of the course. The online feedback form will be sent by The Hive Group by e-mail after completion of the course, on the last day of the training.

ENROLMENT CONFIRMATION
The Hive Group will confirm enrolled participants by email no later than 30 days prior to the course date, except the cases when pre-registration/registration is received less than 30 days prior to the course. If enrolment confirmation was not received (which might occur due to technical reasons), please send an e-mail to: hello@thehivegroup.eu or feel free to otherwise contact our office.

CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER AND REFUND POLICY

  • Training course registrations will not be confirmed until the final ENROLMENT REGISTRATION is complete and billing information is received by The Hive Group in full.
  • In order to cancel or reschedule a confirmed training please submit an email request to hello@thehivegroup.eu
  • Please submit all cancellation requests within 60 calendar days of registration and no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled course date in order to receive a refund, the final refund amount will be equal to the paid course package amount minus the amount of 50 EUR (administrative costs), the transfer may take up to 60 calendar days, since receiving the bank data.
  • No shows and cancellations not made within the specified cancellation period (see above) will incur the full cost of registration. Additionally, if you withdraw during the training, your training history will reflect as “Incomplete” and you will be charged the full course amount.
  • Course withdrawals or skipped training days will cause the cancellation of the training certificate and in such cases, certificates will not be handed out due to the violation of registration policy.

Cancellation By The Hive Group And Refund Policy

  • The Hive Group reserves the right to cancel any training course due to insufficient enrolment at least 30 calendar days in advance of the scheduled course date. Notice will be provided with the option to reschedule for a future course date or to receive a full refund of registration fees.
  • The Hive Group is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the customer if a training course is cancelled and the customer received notification by email within the period specified above.
  • If a training session is cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances “force majeure”, the customer is entitled to reschedule for a future training course. Expenses that occurred due to “Force majeure” circumstances are not subject to a financial refund. The amount paid for a Course booking is turned into a Course Credit, which can be deemed in the future with no expiration date.

COVID-19 STATEMENT

Following the official ERASMUS statement regarding the current situation, the schools and adult education centres upon request will be given the prolongation of the projects, for that all participants are requested to reschedule their course dates. In addition, the beneficiaries (schools and adult education centres) can invoke the “force majeure” clauses. This will allow the National Agency to assess the possibility to accept additional costs up to a maximum grant amount, in this case, the costs that occurred (training fee) will be accepted as eligible by the National Agency.
 
In the case of staff of universities, our policy is as follows:
  • We will allow the payment credit to be used by any member of the staff, therefore enabling the name change of that participant.
  • Credit will be valid for all bookings you make through The Hive Group website www.thehivegroup.eu  between now and 31 December 2022
